Mary made the allegations in an Instagram post on Saturday, October 3, 2026, claiming that she had previously approached the actress privately to address the matter.
According to her, Irewole initially claimed that she was unaware that the man was married, adding that the actress allegedly described him as not being her type and said she had blocked him.
Mary, however, alleged that the relationship continued, claiming that her husband had been supporting Irewole’s movie productions, trips, expensive bags and lifestyle.
She also alleged that the actress travelled with her husband to South Africa in September 2024, while accusing her of repeatedly contacting him with different phone numbers and asking him for money.
Describing the situation as a torment in her marriage, Mary called on Irewole to stay away from her husband and family.
“I’ve had enough. I’ve talked like an adult, I’ve been quiet but she has pushed my patience limit,” she wrote.
Mary also apologised to her family and friends for publicly addressing the matter, saying she had kept quiet for a long time but could no longer tolerate the situation.
In a screenshot shared alongside her post, a message attributed to Irewole appears to state that she ended her relationship with the man a long time ago and accused Mary of attempting to damage her reputation.
The allegations have not been independently verified, and neither the alleged relationship nor the claims of financial support have been established.
